Trying to find a little assistance with my light bill it is 150 and I have 75 of this so I am in need of 75 more. hello! in need for help....need computer! disabled...and ONLY way to see outside world...also! would like to find a place to RENT where it is low rent... but a safe place... right now i have a light bill VERY HIGH..2 months behind...live in very bad pain everyday...need mattress/box springs... so back wont hurt...is there ANYONE that could HELP ME??

I hate to do this but I am in a really bad bind right now. I am short on my electric bill about 95.00. I am due to be shut off tomorrow morning and they are not at all willing to work with me. I wouldn't be on here asking but I have three small children. I will be willing to pay this back! Thank you all so much!
I'm a single mother and also caring for my elderly father. I live in Florida and i need help paying my electric bill. It's currently 481.00 and will be shut off tomorrow 2-28-11 if i cant come up with at least half. I have called different places to help but there is no funds. My son needs breathing treatments and my father is on oxygen 24/7. I have turned to everyone for help and have got nothing. Please if anyone know of any places to help me Today that would be great. This is my last resort for help. Thanks

I really hope you can come up with the money to pay this bill, I wish I could help but I am broke. I will give you some advice tho. one of my friends was having problems with his electric furnace and it was only operating at half potiential, causing $250 electric bills, make shure your filters are clean, and make shure it is functioning correctly, also you can buy a programable thermostat you can program the heat to shut down or just keep the house warm enough to keep water flowing. that would cut down on alot of energy use.
I don't know if anyone here actually helps anyone but my light company is legally screwing me. We've cut back on everything electrical, but our light bill continues to go up. My husband is out if work and I work for minimum wage. We need help, but can't find any. we have two small children that are gonna be in the dark if someone doesn't help us.
I wish that i did have the funds to send to you right now, but unfortunately i do not. There have been no donations to this group, and the ones i have helped to date, have been out of my own pocket.
Well my family and I are in dire straits rt now. Our power has been cut off and I have noone that I can even borrow the money from. I'm disabled and I only receive $674 a month in disability and $254 in TANF. I was blessed to be able to get on the govt assisted program Section 8 but I stand about to lose that if I can't get the electricity back on. I need a total of $1618 to restore power. I have a pledge for $475 from the Dept of Social Services and I have $550 myself. That leaves a balance of about $570 or so...I will except any type of donation or even information on agencies that may help. Thk u
on may 14,2008 me nad my boyfriend where in a car crash and it was bad my car was smashed and my boyfriend got hurt he was out of work for a while then when he went back they had fierd him and now im the only 1 worken tryen to do it on my own.im a month behind on my rent and my gas got cute off two months ago and now my water is going to get cute off tomorrow and we might loss our house.so yea iam realy stressing my boyfriend been trying to get a job but it really hard i need all the help i can get....so i need as much help as i can get or i will be on the streets.....

I'm 38 years old and I have parkinson's disease...I'm currently on clinical trials to try and control my tremors that has really changed my life and my families life.I became unable to work last summer because of uncontrolable shaking and falling.I have however signed up for disability but was turned down even though All my Doctors(6 of them)personally wrote letters of recomendation for my social security disability.We are REALLY having a tough time financially.I have 2 teenage sons that assist me EVERYDAY when they get home from school...They have never once complained.I thank God for them,they are a blessing.I've never had to ask for help until lately,I've always worked hard and provided a way for us.They are in need of shoes/clothes and we need help with light bill and house payment.But most of all we need you're prayers.God bless you all that are in need.
Hi I am a mom of 2. I only have one at home. My oldest is in the Army. I am strugling trying to get my business off the floor. I lost my job as a hairdresser in Raleigh, NC. My Boss let me go because after working for him for 2 years I refused to sign a contract taking a 100.00 dollar pay cut and saying I would not work anywhere doing hair for 1 year if I ever left his salon and for 2 years I would not work within 5 miles of his salon. Hairstyling has been my only occupation for 22 years. I have never had to sign a contract like this and am afraid he would let me go for what ever reason and I would have no way to take care of myself and my child. I have rented a booth but it takes time to reach clients when you aren't allowed to take their phone numbers from the salon. I have found some and more are finding me but my lights are getting ready to be disconnected the end of the week. My bill is $324. I am an honest hard working woman. I have found a way to print cards and flyers from my own pc and am doing all that I can do to better my situation. I am also a full time college student online at the University of Phoenix. I need help this one time. If there is some one that can help me I will pay the money back. It would be a little at a time but I know that God will provide a way. just as He helped me find my way here to this webpage. God bless all those on this site and especially those that help others. Light bill is high due to trying to balance single parent's small paycheck among the bills and care for two small children. Scheduled for disconnection day after tomorrow, Anything will help! I tried state offices and I have no bank account for a loan.

My daugther and grand daughter was about to have to go to a shaltter and I wanted to help her till she got back on her feet, but I'm not doing that good myself. My water is about to be turned off as my gas and light's. I have a job but I had to transfer to another property because they sold the one Hotel and everything would be higher (Ins and no 401K) and I have 401K I have been with this company for 1year already. So the new place messed up the frist 4 pays that stated the down hill affect then a month later we did'nt get paid at all I mean they fixed the mistake but by then it's to late. So I need Help or well will all be with out.
i need help paying my light bill that is about to be disconected and i just dont have the money or anymore time to pay the bill. me and my wife work but its still not enough to pay all our bills and keep the children fed. we are not on gov assistance but we try to make ends meet but sometimes its just not enough. please help!!!
